Snow, snow, and more snow!

OK. I'll put up a picture and an explanation of what it is right under the picture. The pictures will be more or less grouped.

Our front porch and swing.

Front porch from a different view. It's normally about 2 feet off the ground. Well, it still is, but the snow is higher than the ground!

View of our side yard from the back porch

Looking down our street from about a block away from our house

From near the same spot but on a snow pile

Our back yard

Back yard from the railroad back, later in the day

Our house--buried

Our van between our garage and our neighbors' garage

Another shot of the van--later in the day

A drift in between our house and our neighbors'
For those of you who don't know, we share a driveway with the neighbors.

Snow on our neighbors' garage roof

Drift along our neighbors' garage wall. By the way, this picture was above eye level for me, so this drift is pretty big.

Interesting formation in the side yard. It was caused by the wind that came with the snow.

Large snow pile on the walk uptown to the post office

Me on top of the pile

I hope you enjoyed the pictures. I need to go; we didn't shovel everything yet!

I think you do win. Our biggest drifts were against the garage and the main shed, and they only reached about halfway up at their peaks.
